2. The essential role of qualified time stamping in ACE
Qualified time stamping (sello de tiempo calificado) is a legal requirement imposed for all evidence documenting energy savings, under article e 10 of Real Decreto-ley 18/2022, which requires that “all evidence of an energy efficiency device shall be presented in electronic format. with a time stamp qualified in accordance with Regulation (EU) 910/2014 (eIDAS), guaranteeing its integrity and legal validity ( “Toda prueba de una acción de eficiencia energética deberá presentarse en formato electrónico, con un sello de tiempo calificado conforme al Reglamento (UE) 910/2014 (eIDAS), garantizando su integridad y validez legal”).
