What document sizes are possible?

For online processing, we have found that only files smaller than 1 MB are processed within a reasonable time. For very large files, our customers have got into the habit of sending us a burned CD by post, and we process it at head office. At no extra cost.

Why do these professionals have to file?

Registration provides irrefutable proof of anteriority in the event of a dispute. Without such proof, it is often impossible to assert your rights in court. Whether you’re an architect, designer, photographer or musician, your creations have a value that it’s essential to protect.

What does the deposit protect?

The deposit covers all your digital files: plans, photos, scores, logos, source codes, videos, etc. Once deposited, they are time-stamped and registered by a bailiff.

In short, who should register their creations?

All creators wishing to prove the date of their work and protect themselves against counterfeiting.
