Fidealis source code release follows a strict protocol in line with our general escrow conditions. This procedure enables source code to be made available in the event of publisher failure.
Source code escrow is a service that enables a software publisher to deposit its source code with a trusted third party (Fidealis). In the event of the publisher’s failure (liquidation, disappearance, cessation of activity), the beneficiary customer can request the release of the code to ensure the continuity of its business.
The source code can only be released on presentation of the following documents:
Court decision declaring publisher in default
Formal notice unanswered for 30 days
Reasoned request with proof of absence of maintenance
Our team processes claims within a maximum of 15 working days of receipt of all supporting documents and registered mail.
